The Suidlanders and Education

educationOne of the topics within the Suidlanders’ policies which will have surprised many new members is education. Many of us would have thought “Really? When we’re all being in the midst of anarchy are they going to place such an emphasis on ensuring that the kids are learning calculus?”

But once we read The Handleiding we came to appreciate that education is merely one civil-oriented facet of the Suidlanders which was/is unexpected amongst those of us whose preconceptions did not extend further than camps and convoys. And, perhaps gradually in some cases, we have come to appreciate that the Suidlanders’ plan, as contained in The Handleiding, is very, very, carefully thought out. It turns out that education is as necessary to a sustainable plan for our people as, well, anything else.

Now, this topic – education as a priority for The Suidlanders, ties in quite neatly with one of Oom Nicolaas’s prophecies, namely that of Afrikaans being removed as a language of instruction in schools, and of course it also ties in with the current madness that saw Adam Habib kneeling before a known maniac. Clearly, we are in the midst of a crisis.

So, let’s address just one, frankly inadequate, portion of the topic, namely free education for all of our people. We are talking about 100% free, proper, sometimes very high level, and recognised education. Did you know that you can do computer programming courses – amongst scores of others – online through the University of Michigan & Coursera for nil Rand? Reiterate: 100% free, proper, not just basic, and recognised. Admittedly, there is a commercial aspect on the side-lines, but it is on the side-lines, and you do not need to engage in any commercial transaction to complete a course and to obtain the recognition. Not at all.

And did you know that you can do a huge series of mathematics and science courses online, gratis? On one site it is possible to do a complete curriculum, spanning every subject you can think of, from Class 1 to Standard Ten. That’s for free.

It seems certain that as we become more embattled as an ethnic group we shall have to depend more upon one another; and we if we are successful in doing that then it is certain that we will be spited – the enemy will not be able to stand seeing us proper from working together as a community to maintain our civilised standards. It will drive him mad, you may rest assured of that. Then we shall have to pull together even more!

Some people will say “Agh, it will never get that bad!” to which Suidlanders members would answer “Does it seem unrealistic that the government will shortly say ‘Each and every single university in South Africa must reflect the population of our country’”? It doesn’t, does it? In fact, the majority of Suidlanders foresee that that very initiative is only a matter of time away, and not much time at that. Who wouldn’t? Who doesn’t?

One in twenty, perhaps fifteen, perhaps 10, children at university being white? Are we even capable of imagining the consequences of paying 17% VAT, as is widely mooted at present, on top of every other source of government revenue such as approximately R5 – R8 just in levies per litre of fuel but not having access to state-subsidised education for 70% – 80% of our kids?

Just as we must begin to co-operate with one another in our daily activities, so too must we address, as the Suidlanders began to do long ago, the broader spectrum of social endeavours which are about to come crashing down around us and which we need for our long term maintenance as an ethnic group in South Africa.

May we permit ourselves to be led by the Holy Spirit towards a closer relationship with our Father.
